My grandparents were John Lynch and Bridget Munnelly. John was the son of Thomas Lynch and Catherine Meer. Thomas was a groomsman in Abbey Street (I don‘t know where), and is listed as such in the 1911 census. John was also a groomsman and driver - I think it was with the Bourke family. I have a picture of him with Bourke’s horse. He fought in the First World War, joining the Royal Field Artillery on the 8th October, 1915 (service No. 10112) as a driver.
