Henry was born in Ardnaree on 25th October,1921. His parents, John Lynch and Bridget Munnelly, both died when he was very young. He had three brother, Paddy, John and Jim, and three sisters, Kate, Mary, Nan. He was an accomplished athlete – winning medals for football, hurling, rugby and athletics. He spent his working life in the printing industry - first working for the Ballina Herald and then for the Western People (which bought the Herald), until he retired. Henry serverd as a Fianna Fail Councillor in the Urban (Town) Council for over 21 years
Nora (nee O’Hara), was born in Askilaun, Attymachugh, Foxford, on 23rd June, 1921. (I will fill in the rest later).
